How does it work

Standard Assessment route, each participant builds up a portfolio of evidence of competence with his/her PAC advisor. The programme is individually tailored with an initial diagnostic meeting followed by a series of further meetings prior to assessment.

BPP also offers a further PAC product:

Executive Assessment is for Personnel/HR managers who meet the standard CIPD outcomes criteria and can be assessed at their workplace with intensive support in assisting with the construction of a portfolio. It usually involves a one day assessment event at the candidate's workplace generating very comprehensive evidence across the range of competencies with full assessment and verification taking place very speedily.

Programme Duration

Typically about nine months for the standard PAC route for all fields, although this is based largely upon the individuals ability to provide the evidence and their own motivation levels. However, the initial support period is 12 months.

Assessment Methods

Your evidence will be assessed against the appropriate CIPD standards by one of our approved PAC assessors, and subsequently independently verified.

Accreditation/Awards

Any or all of Leadership and Management, Electives, and People Management and Development can be covered by Professional Assessment. Within the electives field, any or all four of your electives can be covered. Successful completion of three fields plus Applied Personnel and Development leads to Chartered Member of the CIPD (MCIPD).
