
Our CIPD Leadership and Management Programme provides the knowledge, skills and understanding required by practiioners to operate highly effectively at a management level. It is the first key element or 'Field' of the CIPD Professional Development Scheme.
The Leadership and Management Programme builds a solid foundation in managment and HR principles. The syllabus covers a wide range of topical management concepts and issues. This will enable students to 'speak the language' of business while driving forward ethical people management policies and procedures.

For whom it is suitable
As the suggested starting point for the CIPD Professional Development Scheme this programme is open to a wide range of candidates. However, as a post-graduate programme candidates will normally either have an experience of a range of HR roles that are likely to include recruitment, management of others, control of budgets etc. or a good educational background e.g. a first degree, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
