Programme content

Specifically designed for training and development professionals to complete a recognised and valued diploma level qualification, this programme focuses on providing the practitioner with the requisite knowledge and skills to operate successfully at management level within the field of Training and Development. The four Training Electives that you would need to complete are:

Learning and Development 

  • Explores the integration of individual and organisational needs, and the development of learning and knowledge, building operational and strategic awareness of their importance. Examines ways to add value through learning and development.

Managing Organisational Learning & Knowledge

  • Examines how to build and support a conducive organisational learning environment and develop added value processes. Focuses on developing a Learning Organisation and generating, sharing and managing knowledge to enhance organisational performance.

Managing the Training and Development Function

  • Practical coverage of how to manage a T&D function covering areas such as recruiting, performance management, auditing, budgeting, developing policy, raising the profile of training and development, and managing politically and ethically within an organisation.

Management Development 

  • Focuses on how to develop effective management development solutions, working with managers in an international/global context, managing performance, identifying skills appropriately and developing competency frameworks, and managing organisational talent effectively.
